- I am an every day, fairly average woman. Although I am at heart a peacemaker, I can be stubborn, even unreasonable (gasp!) at times. Loyal to a fault. Opinionated, but willing to listen to both sides and reevaluate my view. Discovering that the older I get, the less I know. Struggling with weight (but then, what's new?). Married to my soul mate (yes, it sounds cheesy, but what can I say? It's true). Mama to two fur babies, one canine, one feline. It is absolutely impossible for me to listen to the radio without singing along, and a good book can totally consume me. Sort of the "girl next door" all grown up.

ReplyDeleteI love your house pictures! And your new plant! We have been in the 90s lately, too, and it's not fun when you're having "power surges" yourself!
The picture of Chance made me go "Awwww!!!" I miss my pooch a lot and don't feel like taking walks without my walking partner. Give your little buddy a hug for me, okay?

Vikki, I had such a great time - it was a really nice visit with my sister. I drove back today in awful weather - pouring rain most of the way. But it was a break from the brutal heat!

Dar -- thank you for "finding" me. I'm so glad you did. I have thought of your golden shadow so many times the past few weeks, it's bizarre, actually. It's so hard to lose a loved one ... and just because they have four legs and fur doesn't change that fact. I hope you're doing well. I'll try to do better at keeping in touch.
